Advantages and challenges of early bilingual development

Abstract

The main topic of my thesis is bilingualism, and my research aims to explore the advantages and challenges of early bilingual education. I conducted semi-structured interviews with bilingual families, a focus group discussion with my nursery co-workers and I observed the language development of an Arabic child. The results showed that bilingual children acquired their languages sufficiently, and the parents believe that bilingualism in early childhood is beneficial.
