The pragmatic study and analysis of Hungarian spoken language and its usage in the 16th century has become a topic which is new in historical linguistics. The present study has find its base on an intense pragmatic approach relating to written and spoken forms of language of the Hungarian Corpus from 16th century. It concerns with rapports between textual and linguistics forms; such text wich allows spoken language elements to merge in. It also regards those factors wich define usage options in certain circumstances such as situational context, intentions and motives and postures of participants. The analysis includes the possible aspects of conversation analysis and it also deals with spoken language phenomena pertaining sociolinguistics researches such as addressing, saluting, greeting forms as well as other communication formulas. We analyse also the discourse markers, particles and interjections and possible functionality on the level of discourse. Although the study does not form an impression for general conclusions concerning the Hungarian spoken language in 16th century, but it introduces us in the territorial features and conventions of the spoken language usage of that time.
