Absztrakt:
The depth-sensing indentation technique is a versatile experimental method, which allows the study of a series of mechanical parameters and processes. In this thesis the possible applications of the DSI method are reviewed, starting from the well-established determination of hardness and Young´s modulus to more advanced and new, extended applications which were developed in the last decades in the research field of materials science.
