Abstract:
Arbuscular mycorrhiza (AM) plays a significant role in the growth and development of plants. They facilitate the uptake of nutrients, especially immobile phosphates, through plant roots, providing nourishment to the plants. 40 plants were planted for each crop and weekly measurements of plant height, number of leaves, plant stem width and others were taken and recorded. Some AM-inoculated plants showed positive effects on the plant while in some cases, some negative effects were observed.
