Abstract:
This study investigates the advantages and disadvantages of using children’s literature in an English lesson. I hypothesize that incorporating literature into the English lessons can not only improve motivation but increase the development of four language skills. With the help of a survey, a literature-based unit and a collection of titles, the hypothesis proved to be correct as the literature-based unit was successful in the increase in motivation and in skill development.
