Abstract:
This thesis explores the characteristics of the Task-Based Language Teaching method and its use in Hungarian primary EFL education, among 6-12 year old learners. To prove my hypothesis the technique of triangulation was applied. An interview with an EFL teacher, focus group interview with preservice teachers and an action research inculding a task-based lesson. I came to the conclusion that TBLT can be integrated into the EFL teaching process with some modifications.
