Abstract:
The current paper presents the
possibilities of using high-precision,
photo-realistic spatial modeling
technology, digital models for
monument restoration. With the
spatial modeling work done and
presented, we supported the
restoration works of a monumental
building by its accurate 3D survey.
We have put great emphasis on the
detailed specifications of the highprecision
measurement technologies
and techniques used, as well as the
use of 3D models and their derived
architectural products for efficient
and reliable use in monument
restoration.
