A nyelvjárások témakörének megjelenése nyelvtankönyveinkben
Date: 2009
Abstract:
Jelen kutatás eredményei több ponton elgondolkodtatóak. Ugyan 101 tankönyv
és nyelvészeti tárgyú munka csoportosítás nélküli vizsgálata nem
adhat teljes képet arról, hogyan szerepel a témakör a magyar nyelvű tankönyvekben,
de mintaként a további kutatásokhoz kiindulópontként szolgálhat.
A vizsgálat tanulságos, hiszen mindezekből látható, hogy mennyire
nyújtanak (ha nyújtanak egyáltalán) támaszt tankönyveink a magyartanároknak
a tanításhoz, illetve a diákoknak a téma tanulásához. Sok tankönyv
témafeldolgozása több ponton nem logikus felépítés. Dialektológusok,
pedagógusok és tankönyvírók együttes munkájával viszont célt lehetne
érni.
Abstract:
Summary
The representation of dialects in Hungarian grammar books
It is generally known that still several stereotypes exist in Hungarian
people’s mind about dialects. There is no question about this situation
having to be changed. It is not easy to make this change, but it could be
started with forming teachers’ attitude or using better books in schools. I
examine Grammar books and publications in the field of Linguistics in this
study to find out how the subject of Hungarian dialects is presented in
them if it is presented at all. I focus on some important questions in my
study, for example: if the concept of dialects is defined in the Grammar
book; if Hungarian dialects are classified and if so, what classification is
used and how the groups are described. Examining 101 books, I found
that very few of them include the subject of dialects and even those miss
the definition of dialects in some cases. Several new secondary Grammar
books fail to follow the lates publications and that is how we can find 8 or
maximum 9 dialectical regions listed in them instead of the 10 regions.
The attitude towards a subject and the knowledge about it should not be
developped only by families and teachers, but books as well.
